Aiming to provide knowledge on “Python Programming”, the Department of Big Data Analytics, Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized a one-day workshop on 6 February 2021. The resource person for the workshop was Mr C. G Thomas, Assistant Professor, AIMIT, Beeri, Mangaluru. The coordinator of the workshop was Mrs Shubarekha, Dean Administration, St Agnes College, Mangaluru. The workshop began with a prayer conducted by the first-year students. Welcome speech was given by Ms Fahana Jabin, class representative of first year BDA.
The resource person briefed on the basics of the python programming language and demonstrated programs using Python programming language. Students of first year and second year Big Data Analytics actively participated in the workshop. The session was very interactive and it gave a hands-on experience to the students. The session was concluded by the resource person by providing interview related questions.
