The Department of Business Administration, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organised a workshop on ‘Harnessing the Power of Clear and Confident Communication’ on 20 March 2024. The resource Person Ms. Shavina Soans, a freelance softskill trainer; started the session by dividing us into group of 14 with 7 people in each group. She conducted many activities, beginning with a communication game to understand the effect of poor communication. She explained the importance of body language, voice modulations, postures, presentation skills and many more. We were instructed to create our own tribe and enact it out on stage.
