The session began by invoking God’s blessings through a silent prayer. Dr Ita D’Souza, HOD, Department of Chemistry introduced the resource person to the gathering.
During the one hour long session Dr Jenice spoke on the wide horizons of Chemistry. She stressed on the field of research. She also informed us about the various Government exams that the students could apply to. She asked the students to focus more on their strengths and interests in the subject rather than merely relying on the scope of it. This was followed by a questions & answer session.
Students of I, II and III B.Sc. Chemistry as well as the post graduate students attended the programme. Mrs Helen Serrao, Dean of Science rendered the vote of thanks.
It was a very informative and eye opener session for the students to choose their career.
