The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, St Agnes College (Autonomous) organised a visit to SnehaDeep, Home for Children on 27 September 2023. The faculty and students reached the destination. The session started with a prayer. The visit was skilfully managed by Ms Nireeksha, Final year M.Com student. Ms. Tapasya and Ms.Shwetha conducted games for the children.
The students of Snehadeep were disciplined and talented. They knew how to greet elders and to entertain guests. They came back from school, dressed neatly and sat for the program. M.Com department conducted various games and the students in Snehadeep actively participated and enjoyed the games. Teachers and students gave away prizes. The objective of the visit was to make higher education students comprehend how to see the world from different perspective. Also to make students feel the power of giving and sharing.
The students of M.Com gave away stationeries, snacks and clothes to the students of SnehaDeep as a symbol of love and care. Dr Dolan Champa Banerjee proposed vote of thanks and concluded the session.
