The Post Graduate Department of Psychology, St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangalore organized a general assembly on 10 October 2022. It was conducted in the presence of Sr Dr M. Venissa A.C. the principal, Sr Dr M. Vinora A. C. the P.G. coordinator, Heads of the various Departments and faculty members of Departments of English, Commerce Psychology, Big data analytics and Chemistry. The programme was conducted as an orientation for the first year students since it was their first day in the college.
The programme started with verses from the Holy Scriptures and was followed by a welcome dance lead by Vismaya and team. The gathering was welcomed by Sangrila Dsouza with her short speech and the first year students from various departments to the college were given a warm welcome. The students received the blessings of the Principal, P.G. coordinator and HODs who offered different symbols of growth, enlightenment, and knowledge to the students from different departments. It was then followed by an insightful speech by the Principal. Next was the ice breaker session which was handled by Carol and group. This was followed by a general awareness seminar on world mental health day by Ranjitha. Later, Maneesha with her beautiful voice mesmerized the audience followed by a power packed performance by Shilpa and team. vote of thanks was delivered by Anamika Sunil.
