The trekking troop started at 6.00 a.m. from St Agnes college (autonomous) Mangalore. The group had their breakfast at Beltangadi and continued their journey towards Devaramane. The Trekking troop embarked on 5 kilometer trek to the summit, navigating the terrain and enjoying the natural beauty surrounding them. The trek, while challenging, culminated in rewarding experience at the top. It was a challenging yet wonderful experience for the students. Started hiking down the hill at 2.30p.m and finally reached the common point at 4.00p.m. After which, travelled back to Mangalore. There were 52 beneficiaries.
On 10th February 2025, students of Human Rights and Education Cell with Rangers and Rovers association went for a trekking expedition to Devaramane Chikkamagaluru under the supervision of Dr. Navya assistant professor Department of zoology and Mrs. Pooja Shetty assistant professor Department of commerce.
