The programme commenced with invocation of prayer after which the Vice President of the PTA Ravi Bhatt welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest of the day Dr. Rameela Shekhar, Director and practicing as a Mental Health Professional at Manashanthi Counselling, Training and Research center, Mangaluru.
The Chief Guest, in her address spoke about the importance of relationship. She said that a role of the parent can be fulfilled by listening and being approachable. Children should be appreciated for achievement, which can lead to a better life. She also added that parents should have patience and be consistent with discipline so the children can follow a healthy life style and children of this generation need to be given feedback so they will improve in their relationship.
The PTA Vice President Mr. Ravi Bhatt requested the parents to submit their nominations to form the new PTA Executive Committee for 2024-25, and also expressed that it was a great experience to be in the PTA and collaborate with the institution. The Principal encouraged the parents to join the PTA Executive Committee and partner in the smooth functioning of the institution and help the students grow. The members for the Executive Body of the PTA for 2024-25 were elected and the election was conducted with the help of the Vice President Mr. Ravi Bhatt.
Mrs. Shanthi Nazareth, Secretary PTA presented the record of the minutes of the previous Annual General body Meeting of The PTA followed by Mrs. Vineetha N T, Treasurer PTA who presented the statement of accounts for 2024-25 and the projection of the budget for the current academic year. The records were approved and passed by the members of The PTA.
The Principal Sr. Dr. M. Venissa A.C, the PTA president and Joint-Secretary Sr. Dr. M. Maria Roopa A.C, were among the dignitaries present on stage. The meeting concluded at 4:00 pm with the vote thanks proposed to all the stakeholders.
