The speaker for the session was Mr Gerard Dsouza, Retired Professor of Employment Skill Development and Management, MITE, Moodabidri. The session started with a prayer by Ms. Rolvi and group, followed by the introduction of the speaker by Ms Priya Lobo.
The main objective of the session was to help students face the world outside their comfort zone and impart some strategies to think out of the box.
The speaker in his session emphasized the traits of successful people, strategies to reskill and upskill one-self and also plan in approaches to change an underlying assumption. Various activities were conducted to enhance the skill-sets of students.
The two days session concluded successfully for the Second year M. Com students. Mr Nelson Marwin Fernandes handed over a token of gratitude to the resource speaker. Ms Amulya Pai proposed the vote of thanks. The Head of Department of Commerce (PG), Dr Dolan Champa Banerjee expressed her gratitude, appreciation and ended the session.
