On 3 September 2022, the Department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organised a Session on Self Assurance for I B.Com students. Mr Delan Lobo, Operations Executive and Project Manager at Almasons was the Resource Person. Mr Delan said that Self-Assurance is similar to self-confidence and that in the deepest part of themselves, individuals have faith in their strengths. He also said that individuals are aware of their ability to take risks, ability to meet new challenges, ability to stake claims, and, most important, ability to deliver. He also gave tips on how to work with self-assurance, lead with self-assurance and to live with self-assurance.
A session on Time management was organised. Mrs Crystal Rodrigues, Research Scholar at NITK was the Resource Person. She explained to the students the importance of time management and explained about the giver and receiver theory. Mrs Crystal also explained the time robbers that hinder an individual from managing his time. She also explained the tools and techniques for Managing time. She also explained the Do’s and Don’ts of Time Management.
