Ms Chaitra, II year M.Com student took the opportunity of being the host for the day. The session started by invoking God’s blessing. Ms Rithika welcomed the gathering, Ms Shreya introduced the guest.
Dr Hegde provided valuable insights on various job opportunities available and the crucial difference between a job and a career. She elaborated that a job is perceived as a means to an end and a career involves long-term goals and personal fulfilment. She highlighted the significance of questioning everything, encouraging mind for critical inquiry and curiosity for personal and professional development. She emphasised the importance of soft skills underscoring their crucial role in effective communication, adaptability, punctuality and other qualities that enhance professional relationships and workplace success. The session concluded with a motivational success story and query clarifications.
