The St Agnes College (Autonomous) organized a seminar for the student cabinet and the class representatives on the topic – “Leadership-Nothing is Impossible” on 24 July 2019 by Dr Austin D’Souza Prabhu, Editor: Veez Konkani Illustrated weekly International E-Magazine.
Mrs Chethana Assistant Professor of BBA Department welcomed and introduced the guest to the gathering.
Dr Austin Prabhu highlighted the importance of being a leader and stressed that it was enough to be a leader but what counted is how effective a leader is.
He took snippets from his own personal life to motivate students to not give up whatever the situation may be and must strive to be a role model for all.
He advised the audience to strive and thrive in extremely unfavourable scenarios and motivated them to think out of the box to come up with new ideas that can benefit the society in general. He said that a leader should put their duty first and foremost above others and expect nothing in return. He also spoke on the importance of working hard despite the obstacles in the way and even reminisced about his success story when he was young. His story inspired the student cabinet and class representatives to work hard and achieve greater heights.
