A seminar on Human Rights and Religion was organised by St Agnes College, the department of Political Science on December 11, 2019.
Dr Fr Joachim Andreade, Professor at Pontificial Catholic University of Parana, Curtiba, Brazil was the chief guest of the event.He addressed the students on how religion is linked with geographical regions. He also spoke on Human rights and global issues, evolution of humans rights, different geographies, role of religion etc.
Dr Rosveera, Head of the department of Political Science, St Aloysius College, Chandra Mohan Maratte, Head of the department of Political Science and Gayathri B K, Asst professor of Political Science were also present on the dias.
Sarah Monis, Vice President of Arts, compered the session.
