Department of Business Administration organised a seminar on ‘Career Path Exploration Based on Learning Digital Skills”. The resource person for the session was Dr. Moona Moosa, Affiliated Member of IDigitalPreneur, began the session by orienting about the population of India, and the number of graduates and postgraduates who are unemployed and number of employees who have been laid off by Google and Meta. She then emphasized on what are skills and what does it take to stand out from others in basis of skills. She oriented about the different skills such as digital skills, content creators, video editors etc. She also explained about Search engine optimization (SEO) and machine automation and benefits of digital literacy. Furthermore, she oriented the students on the importance and the impact of freelancing and it’s benefits in a students life. She informed the students about Idigitalpreneur, a online platform for skill development, which consists of various courses which elevates and boosts the skills of students. She then enlightened the students on the different courses which are a part of the package of IDigitalPreneur.
