The SACCSA Valedictory Programme, organized by the Department of Commerce, was held on 16th April 2025 at 1:30 PM in Venue A4 (Avila Block). The event marked the successful culmination of a series of vibrant student-led activities under SACCSA and served as a tribute to the graduating batch of final-year students.

The programme commenced with a warm and enthusiastic welcome by the emcee Ms. Evlin, followed by a soulful prayer session led by Shaun and his team, invoking blessings for the event and the students’ future endeavors. The formal welcome address was delivered by Ms. Ananya, who set the tone for the afternoon with her cheerful words.

A heartfelt message to the outgoing final-year students was shared by the Head of the Department, Mrs. Vinnetha N. T., who reflected on their journey, encouraged them to embrace the future with confidence, and expressed her pride in their accomplishments.

The prize distribution ceremony followed, honoring the winners of the COMQUEST competitions, which were conducted as part of the SACCSA activities. In addition, academic achievers were felicitated — including ACCA students who successfully cleared their professional papers and CA students who passed the Foundation exam.

The department also took this opportunity to appreciate the efforts of the Class Representatives and Assistant Representatives, as well as the Cabinet Members from the Department of Commerce, for their consistent dedication and leadership throughout the academic year. Special recognition was given to the volunteers who extended their service to the Carmel Helpline, acknowledging their commitment to social responsibility.

The list of all the achievers was read out by Mrs. Pooja Shetty and Mrs. Nimitha K., adding a personal touch to the felicitation segment. Their words brought warmth and appreciation to the occasion.

The event proceeded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Kowshik, who expressed sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty, students, and volunteers who contributed to the success of SACCSA and the valedictory celebration.

The highlight of the afternoon was a heartwarming farewell programme organized by the second-year students for their beloved seniors. Mr. Alric spoke on behalf of all the juniors, expressing their thoughts and sentiments about the seniors.Through touching performances, messages, and memories, they expressed their affection and best wishes to the final-year students, making it an emotional and memorable conclusion to the event.

The SACCSA Valedictory Programme was a meaningful celebration of accomplishments, camaraderie, and transition — a day to remember for all.
