The “Timeless Ties” Alumni Meet, held on 13 July 2024, at the Post Graduate Department of Chemistry, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru reunited former students of the Post Graduate Department of Chemistry. Highlights included a welcome address by Ms Ashika, second year M.Sc. Chemistry student, and a keynote address by Sr Gloria D Souza A.C., Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry. The programme included interesting games and engaging activities for the alumni. Follwing this was an experience sharing session by Mr Binan, an alumni, currently working at Syngene International Ltd., Hyderabad. There was also a soulful performance by another of the alumni Mr Vishnu, currently working at Anthem Biosciences Private Ltd., Bengaluru. At the end, vote of thanks was rendered by Ms Irin, second year M.Sc. Chemistry student. The event fostered strong connections, celebrated alumni achievements, and inspired future collaborations. The alumni gave a positive feedback praising the organization and engagement, suggesting more interactive sessions in the future and acknowledging the invaluable support and guidance given by the Department. “Timeless Ties” successfully reinforced alumni bonds and highlighted their enduring impact on the institution.
