On 12th October 2023 , students attended a Paper Seed Program organized by the Zilla Panchayat. The program began with a session at the college, where a resource person provided a brief awareness talk on environmental issues and the benefits of the paper seed initiative. This was followed by an Environmental Awareness Walk rally from St Agnes College to Roshni Nilaya, the Social Work School in Mangaluru. NSS volunteers actively participated in the rally, chanting slogans to raise awareness about environmental conservation.

The rally was well-organized and saw enthusiastic participation from students, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices. During the session, the resource person shared valuable insights on how paper seeds contribute to environmental sustainability. The walkathon highlighted the collective effort needed to tackle environmental challenges. The involvement of NSS volunteers was commendable, as they effectively communicated the message of environmental responsibility.
