St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized an input session on NAAC PREPAREDNESS for the UG and PG faculty members on 3 February 2023. Dr Aloysius Edward J., the IQAC Coordinator of Christu Jayanti College, Bengaluru was the resource person. The session began by invoking God’s blessings. Dr Ita Dzouza, the IQAC Coordinator introduced the resource speaker and welcomed the gathering. Dr Aloysius Dsouza began the session with two key pointers to be kept in mind before moving ahead with the NAAC documentation i.e. to know the current status of documentation and the work done and to assess how we can work on each criterion to better the present status in the remaining two semesters. He acquainted the members with the differences in benchmarks from the IV cycle to the V one. Further he discussed each criterion in detail and cleared the doubts that the criterion members had with regard to the documentation process for the Fifth Cycle of NAAC Accreditation. Dr Aloysius also enlightened the members on the various ways in which an institute can work towards answering the questions in a better way. He also demonstrated the ways in which a college can document data for NAAC Accreditation by showing his college website. Post lunch the staff members met in their criterion groups and further discussed the immediate course of action after which each criterion group presented the document requirements under their criterion. The session ended with Mrs Marina, Associate Professor of Physics and the IQAC Secretary proposing the vote of thanks.
