One of the major problems India is dealing with is the ever skyrocketing graph of crime. Every year to create awareness, the Mangalore police department arranges various activities to create awareness about different types of crime and how to deal with . This year NSS unit of St. Agnes College in collaboration with the Police department of Kadri conducted a street play on 22nd December at Mallikatta market and Bikarnakatta market from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The street play was about Traffic rules, Eve teasing and pick pocketing. The NSS Volunteers distributed pamphlets to create awareness about different types of crimes seen in our present day times. After which the NSS volunteers were taken to the Kadri police station where they were briefed about the working of the different police departments.
