The National Integration Camp was held in Belgavi from 20th to 27th February 2024. Our volunteers, Dan Vijay Charles (I B.Com) and Hriswi (II BCA), along with four other volunteers, represented Mangaluru University. The seven-day camp saw participation from seven states and 18 universities across Karnataka. The primary aim of the camp was to unite different cultures and people in a single environment. Numerous competitions were held to provide an opportunity for participants to showcase their cultural heritage.

The Mangaluru University team achieved significant success, winning several prizes:

  • 3rd place in the folk dance competition
  • 2nd place in the drama competition
  • 3rd place in the contemporary dance competition
  • 1st place in the debate competition

The main objective of the Mangaluru team was to introduce Tulunadu Culture at the national level, which was successfully accomplished by the volunteers.
