A drawing competition using mathematical symbols was conducted by the department of mathematics, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru on Friday,16 February 2024 at Physics lab. The competition aimed to celebrate the beauty of mathematics through artistic expression.
The competition was open to all streams and thirteen talented students participated in the competition. From intricate geometric patterns to abstract representations of mathematical concepts, each artwork captured the essence of mathematics in a visually stunning manner. The faculty members from the Department of Mathematics evaluated the drawings.
Shivani Acharya from 1st BSc emerged as the winner, Raj Sharma from 1st BCA and Thangalakshmi from 1st BBA shared the second place. The competition was a resounding success, with all participants demonstrating exceptional talent for both art and mathematics.
