Dr. K.S. Ali, the Chief Librarian and Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte, Mangaluru, was the resource person for the session titled “Amplify Your Research: Maximizing Publication Impact.” The session addressed issues related to academic social networking sites and strategies for improving academic research visibility.
Dr Ali highlighted the importance of different indexing databases, scholarly research publications, and the creation of teacher profiles on platforms such as IRINS, Vidwan, and ORCID, to enhance the visibility of their publications. He advised scholars to amplify their research publications by selecting suitable topics, using effective writing tools, targeting the right journals, and enhancing research quality to increase visibility and impact.
