Program held as part of Suvarna Karnataka Rajyotsava by St. Agnes Group of Educational Institutions, Mangalore:
On 01-11-2024, a program was held with the participation of teaching and non-teaching staff and students of St. Agnes Group of Educational Institutions, Mangalore. The program, which began with a welcome, flag hoisting, and a prayer for the national anthem, featured songs such as Udayavagalai Namma Cheluva Kannada Nadu, Barisu Kannada Dindimava, Hachhevu Kannada Da Deepa, Vishwa Vinuthana Vidyachetana, and Huttidire Kannada Nadali Huttabeeku…, sung by the students. On this occasion, a resolution was made to preserve, cultivate and spread the Kannada language in the presence of all those present. The high school HM Sister M Gloria AC, participated as the chief guest and explained the importance of Kannada.
The program was attended by the Principal of St. Agnes Degree College, Dr. Sister Vanessa A. C., the Undergraduate Principal, Sister Noreen, and the Secondary School Principal, Sister Jotnsa, Deans of various departments, professors, teachers, non-teaching staff, and students from postgraduate, graduate, undergraduate, and high school classes participated.
