The resource person and speaker of the programme was Dr Arun M. Isloor, Professor and former Head, Department of Chemistry at National Institute of Technology-Karnataka,Surathkal. He completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Mangalore University and Post-Doctrate at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He has 17 years of experience in research, teaching and in various field, 267+ research publications and 3 superior books in the field of environmental engineering and science, nanoscience, and many more. His achievements are immense. One among them is Sir C.V. Raman Young Scientist State Award in Chemical Science and many more prestigious awards.
The programme started at 9:15am. The programme was compered by Reshal of II M.sc Chemistry. Prayer was led by Sneha Treesa and Roshni of II M.Sc. chemistry, welcome speech by Binan of I M.Sc. Chemistry, followed by ‘Introduction of speaker’ by Neha of II M.Sc Chemistry. Dr Geetha Pinto, the former Head of Post Graduate Department of Chemistry handed a potted plant to speaker of the day as a token of gratitude. The programme ended by 11:30am. Jeena of II M.Sc Chemistry proposed the vote of thanks. It was a pleasure to have such an eminent personality who gave a delightful talk and ideas about StartUp.
