Shri Naveen DSouza Corporator, along with dignitaries including Principal Sr Dr M Venissa A.C., Vice Principal Sr Clara Rodrigues A.C., Administrator Sr Carmel Rita, Mr Ramesh, Observer and Mrs. Vasudha S, Physical Education Director, graced the occasion.
Shri Naveen DSouza Corporator said in his inaugural address, “only hard work can take you to the successful level, He expressed his interest on sports and mentioned sports can keep you fit and healthy throughout ”
Sr Dr Venissa AC, Principal motivated the women players in her Presidential Address.
The inaugural ceremony was compered by Mrs Gayathri, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science. Ms Prerana, sports secretary delivered the vote of thanks.
There were 38 teams for Preliminary round on day one, and 8 teams for the championship round on the second day. In the Preliminary round Milagres college Kalyanpur won the First Place and St Agnes College was the Runners Up.
In the Championship round SDM College, Ujire came out as winners and gained Kolkebail Chandrashekhar Shetty Ever Rolling Silver Trophy for women 2023. Alvas College, Moodabidre secured Second Place, St Agnes College secured third place and Milagres College, Kallianpur secured Fourth place. Around 500 students from different colleges participated enthusiastically.
Dr Gerald Santhosh Dsouza, Director Department of Physical Education, Mangalore University and Mr. Ramesh, Physical Education Director, SDM College, Ujire were the chief guests for the valedictory program. Ms Trisha Shetty welcomed the gathering and Ms Rishika was the master of ceremony for the valedictory event
