St Agnes Centre for Postgraduate studies and research held an Industry Academia Interaction on 05 July, 2024 with the objective of proposing a joint research project between Industry and Academia. The interaction was held with Mr. G K Bhat, the Managing Director of Kakunje Software Pvt Ltd, Mangaluru from industry and faculty members from the Postgraduate departments being present. The interaction was to propose joint research projects in collaboration with Kakunje Software Pvt. Ltd. and St Agnes College (Autonomous) Mangaluru with the focus on Green Initiatives. The members present deliberated on projects that included dry waste segregation, conversion of plastic waste into useful products and extraction of metals from batteries. The members suggested submitting the research proposals to government initiatives and potential funding agencies to get approval to conduct the proposed research projects on campus.
