The students were first introduced to Adobe InDesign software. The press staff demonstrated how newspaper pages are designed and formatted before printing. Following the software session, students were taken to the printing section, where they were shown the plate-making process. The staff explained how metal plates are prepared for printing and how they transfer ink onto paper. This was followed by the final stage of the printing process, where students witnessed newspapers being printed in bulk and prepared for distribution.
