The Department of Kannada, Kannada Sangha and Akaram Sangha organised an educational tour to Hampi and Chitradurga on 8th – 11th December 2024 as part of its curriculum. A group of 45 students visited various notable destinations, including Hampi Virupaksha Temple, Hazararama Temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Queen Bath, Museum, Hampi Bazar, Vijaya Vittala Temple, TB Dam, Chitradurga Fort, Chandravalli Cave, Muruga Matta. This tour provided students with hands-on-learning experiences and exposure to Karnataka Culture.
