A Guest lecture was organised for the III B.A. English Major students by the Department of Englisg, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru on “Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own” with special reference to Chapter One on 6 September 2020 through Google Meet. The resource person was Dr Melisa Goveas, Assistant Professor of PG Department of English, St Aloysius College, Mangaluru. Dr Melisa spoke on the importance of writing to sensitize the public to the realities of women’s world specially in the olden times. A total of 50 students benefited from the session. The session was organized by Ms Asha Albuquerque, Assistant Professor from the Department of English.
