The Guest Lecture on Multivariate Analysis was conducted on 10 June 2021 by the Department of Big Data Analytics, Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru on the Google meet platform where staff and students from 1st and 2nd year of Big Data Analytics were present. The resource person was Mr Chris Lewis, who briefed on data analytics and related topics of Factor analysis, Discriminant Analysis. The resource person demonstrated interesting programming exercises in Python for Multivariate analysis and briefed on Big Data Analytics using Hadoop MapReduce. The Guest Lecture was coordinated by Ms Deepthi Maria Varghese. The Guest Lecture’s highlight was the question and answer session where the resource person answered students’ queries on data analytics from an industry perspective. Students participated very enthusiastically during the Q&A session.
