The Department of Political Science organized a Special Guest Lecture on Human Rights and Religion on 11 December 2019. Rev (Dr) Joachim Andrade Professor, Pontifical Catholic University of Parana, Curitiba, Brazil was the Guest Speaker for the programme. He addressed the role of religion and the way how it is interlinked with Human Rights. He also spoke on geography in connection with Human Rights.
