The Psychology forum, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangluru organised a guest lecture on Health and Hygiene on 1 September 2018 conducted by the Microbiology Department. Dr Hithakshi B, the staff coordinator of the association welcomed Mrs Vidya Patali, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology to the session. The session started with the importance of microorganisms and where all they reside, the different kinds of microorganisms that live around and within us and their harmful influence on us. The session also had information about the essential microorganisms that are required for maintenance of good health, known as micro-flora which is eliminated from the body by excessive use of bath products. The session ended with giving how to maintain a healthy life and environment and how to keep one neat and clean.
