Her session began by questioning students their future plans. Then she recalled her final year graduation days where she enthusiastically attended all job fair’s happening in and around Mangalore city. She emphasized to attend as many interviews as possible before completing their graduation. Later, she continued saying how they should learn to listen to the unpleasant, harsh words, face challenges in order to fit into the employment. She opined that the academics alone will not help them to give a very good employment; they should hunt for the job, to be more resourceful and learn to be more courageous to face the world.
She shared her work experience and informed how her academic subjects helped in upgrading her employment position, She gave some tips to write the resume, how to face interview, involve in group discussions etc. She highlighted the various openings in Bangalore city in the corporate field as there are many start ups in and around the city. She outlined the importance of communication, drafting, skills in computer such as Ms Office, SQL, Linkedin, google apps, and related apps.
The session began with the prayer lead by Ms Sherlin and group, Ms Joyline welcomed and Ms Zahiya proposed the vote of thanks.
