The Department of Commerce, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru hosted a guest lecture on ‘Conflict to Confident’ on 24 August 2023. Mr Samarth Shenoy B, Assistant Professor, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Adyar, Mangaluru, was the guest speaker.
Ms Glory and team led a prayer song to start the program. Ms. Sabina, a second B.Com. student welcomed the group and introduced the special guest. A guest talk on conflict and confusion looked at how conflict can lead to uncertainty in one person. The confident received advice regarding conflict from an expert. He discussed the various dispute resolution approaches and counseled the students to recognize their own. Different conflict styles apply based on the situation. Second-year B.Com. student Ms. Malavika compered the session.
