St Agnes college (Autonomous), Mangalore organised a farewell programme for the three retiring teachers – Mrs. Vinatha K Associate Professor & Head Department of Psychology, Mrs. Sandhya M Pai, Assistant Professor, Department of English and Dr. Shailaja K, Associate Professor and Head Department of Kannada, on 09 April 2025 at St Agnes College Centenary Auditorium.
The programme began with a prayer song by the college choir, Ms Privy D’Souza – UG student president delivered the welcome address. A very meaningful dance was performed by the students for the retiring staff members. Principal Sr. Dr M Venissa in her speech spoke about the service and contributions rendered by the teachers to the institution. Teachers attaining superannuation shared their experience and journey as a teacher. A token of gratitude was presented to the teachers by the students. At the end farewell song was sung by the students which conveyed their respect and love towards teachers. Ms Vishitha Sheethal expressed the words of gratitude followed by college Anthem. Ms Ananya Madhu compered the programme.
