The second day of faculty development programme on 3 of June 2019 began with invoking God’s blessings by the spiritually committee at 9am.
Fr Alvito Feranades OCD, was the speaker for the first session of the day. The session began with a brief introduction of Fr. Alvito to the gathering by Sr Dr Vinora A.C.
Fr Alvito, enlightened the gathering on the purpose of work and love of God. He stressed on bringing or sharing the love of God at our workplace and in the classroom and that is the virtue which needs to be built in one for self-growth. He gave a call to each present there to a role model to our students which could be achieved only by making God the center of our Life.
It was a very interactive session wherein many of the faculty shared their views for the examination of self-growth and in bringing love of God to all. Mrs.SherylPreethika, on behalf of all present thanked Fr.Alvito for sharing his knowledge with us.
After a quick tea break , Mr Brayan Fernandes was introduced to the gathering by Mrs Asha as the second speaker of the day. Mr Brayan, an Academician presented a complete idea about professionalism to the gathering. He gave certain measures on being a happy worker and also as on how to showcase one’s professionalism. He engaged the crowd with lot of discussions which kept the gathering active and lively.
The afternoon session began with an active group discussion on a set of questions given for the all round development of the college. Every group gave in their valuable suggestions keeping in mind the rules and regulations of the college.
This discussion was followed by briefing of Agnes Towards Community (ATC) by Dr NancyVaz along with Dr Premanada who shared new ideas on utilizing topics from our curriculum and reaching out to the community. The gathering appreciated this new idea of inculcating curriculum in ATC and the session dismissed for Tea at 4.30pm.
