St. Agnes College, the Department of Commerce organized an outreach activity at St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Padav, where a group of 12 students from the Commerce Department participated on 18th October. The students were accompanied by Mrs. Pooja Shetty and Mrs. Jeslin Dcunha Assistant Professors, Department of Commerce.
The students conducted numerous activities for the children of St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Padav, spanning classes 1 to 7. Akishma from 3rd year B.Com.commenced the event with a warm welcome speech, followed by K R Nidhi and Sneha, who led the prayer to set a positive tone for the day’s activities.
The event progressed with Deepthi and Glenita, alongside other students, taking the initiative to conduct an engaging action song session. This was followed by a small game organized for the children, which added an element of fun and excitement to the day.
Later, the children were divided into four groups for a craft session. The participants guided the children in creating various crafts such as frogs, boxes, butterflies, and dogs. The children eagerly participated in these activities, displaying their creativity and enthusiasm.
Prizes were distributed to the winners, adding a sense of achievement and joy for the children. It was a fulfilling and enriching experience.
