On account of National Science day, the Department of Microbiology organized an extension activity for the students of St Agnes CBSE School.
The faculty of the department of Microbiology along with the final year students took up sessions on types of microorganisms, diseases caused, maintenance of health and hygiene, healthy diet, fermented foods etc.
The CBSE students visited the lab and observed various types of microorganisms using microscope.
Visit to the mushroom house was an added attraction of this extension activity.
Around 80 students of seventh class were the beneficiaries of this program.
