An Electoral Program was conducted for our NSS volunteers by Mrs. Jyothi, Assistant Teacher at St Agnes Higher Primary School, Mangaluru. She graced the event as the chief guest and resource person, enlightening us about the SWEEP program (Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation). The primary goal of SWEEP is to foster a truly participative democracy in India by encouraging all eligible citizens to vote and make informed decisions during elections. The program was highly informative and beneficial for the youth of India.
On 17th February 2024, an electoral awareness program was held in association with DK ZP SWEEP, NYK, and Sri MallikarjunaSeva Sangha at Jeppu, Mangalore. The resource person for this event was Dr. BharathiPilar, Assistant Professor at University College Mangalore.
