The Department of History under the banner of Electoral Literacy Club organised Voter’s (Electoral) Awareness Rally on 16 February 2019, as per the directives of District Administration and Regional Joint Director, Mangalore. The rally was flagged off by Dr. Sr. Venissa A.C the Vice Principal of St Agnes College and Mrs Ashuntha Crasta, (BLO) senior teacher at St Agnes Higher Primary School. Dr Meera, Head of Department of History (Nodal officer Electoral Literacy Club) and Dr Uday Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi, St Agnes College led the rally. The residents of Mercara Hills were motivated to cast their vote and participate in the electoral process.
