The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship (MBA), St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru is committed to developing leaders via comprehensive, transformative, and creative education.

The MBA programme is designed to equip students to assume leadership responsibilities in an increasingly complicated and dynamic global environment through a two-year full-time curriculum. The course’s structure and content are drawn from management practice and supported by a solid theoretical foundation with a focus on current and developing management topics. The curriculum provides the students with a basis for conceptual and analytical reasoning as well as an understanding of the dynamics of business. It is based on the idea that company leaders are carefully nurtured and developed.

With a dedicated placement support and experienced faculty members, each student is mentored to choose the right profession and to be competent in the dynamic world. The updated curriculum and industry guest lectures equips the MBA graduates to take on leadership roles across industries. The students also develop their thoughts on how companies should operate.

Duration

The MBA program at St Agnes College (Autonomous) is for a duration of 2 years (4 semesters) and an approved intake of 60 students

*The Specialisations/electives that will be offered during the III and IV semesters may be subject to change and will be based on the number of students opting for the said specialisation in the first semester. If the number of students opting for a particular specialisation is less than 20 then the specialisation may be cancelled. The college reserves the right to offer or deny the above-mentioned specializations/electives.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admissions

Eligibility for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program requires a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (including language subjects). For Management seats, selection is based on merit, determined by the marks obtained in the group discussion and personal interview (GDPI), and the aptitude test. In case of equal marks between two or more candidates, degree marks may be considered. The aptitude test that are accepted include: KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test, https://www.kmatindia.com/) or any other national level management aptitude tests. Students should apply for management seats through the college website at https://www.stagnescollege.edu.in After applying online, students will be called for the group discussion and personal interview (GDPI) process.

For Government seats, the admission process includes an entrance test conducted by the Post-graduate Central Entrance Test (PGCET), currently conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The advertisement for admission usually appears in June on the KEA website (kea.kar.nic.in), although the notification may be released earlier. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can participate in centralized state-level counselling for seat allotment. Candidates will have to opt for St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangalore as the option during the counselling.
