The PG Department of Chemistry at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, successfully organized ‘Daan-Utsav’, promoting social responsibility and community engagement on 27 January 2024. Students from the PG Department of Chemistry led by Ms. Shreya (II M.Sc. Chemistry), collected stationery items from college students and faculty members during October 2023. A team of students from II M.Sc. Chemistry, including Ms. Shreya, Ms. Punya, Ms. Bhoomi, and Ms. Fathimath visited Higher Primary School, Bagambila, Deralakatte, Mangaluru on 27 January 2024. They conducted games for school children and distributed the collected stationery items. The event fostered social responsibility and generosity among students, promoting interactive learning and community bonding.
