On the occasion of Celestia -23, A National level fest, the Department of Mathematics, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized “cygnus” on 31 October 2023. 12 teams from various colleges registered for the event. The event began at 12.pm and Meghana Rao was the event head. Preliminary rounds were conducted and 6 teams were selected for the final round. The final round was a relay round which started in zoology lab and ended in Masscom lab. Each team had to solve 5 stages. In stage 5 the participants were given an exposure to maxima software. Team Cupid- Mount Carmel Central School emerged as the winner and team Hydra – St Ann’s PU college won the second place.
