The Post Graduate Department of Chemistry, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru conducted “Chem Magic” – an extension for school students. The program was held on 8 June 2022 at St Agnes High School, Mangaluru. The main objective for this program was to induce love for chemistry in young hearts and also to make them aware of the fact that how the subject has its hold on each and every entity of this world. About 50 students of the standard eighth participated in the programme. It was an interactive session filled with fun and informative experiments with magical outputs which was amusing and instructional. The experiments made a great impact on students which stimulated them to know much more about the charismatic world of chemistry. The session was concluded with intriguing words of Sr Gloria D Souza A.C., Assistant Professor, P.G. Department of Chemistry who inspired students to grow in their liking for chemistry.
