‘CHEM AURA’ an Association of the Post Graduate Department of Chemistry, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru on 3 June 2022 organized two activities named ‘ELEMENT’ and ‘CHEMIST. In the first activity, the participating team had to guess the name of the element in the periodic table. With each wrong prediction of the periodic table element and letters, each letter in the term ‘element’ would be struck off which meant participants would get 7 chances to make an error and also had to predict an element by 30 seconds. Totally there were 5 rounds and each team had to predict the element. The other activity was similar to ‘bingo. Here each team had to arrange 25 set of given periodic table elements across 5X5 square. Whichever team first struck off each and every element in 5 rows or columns horizontally or vertically 7 times would be the winner.
Altogether every team had a good time, interacted with one another, ended up using their knowledge in chemistry to win the activity.
