The department of Statistics St. Agnes College (Autonomous) organized a talk on “Career Opportunities in Statistics” on 29 June 2024 for the Final and Second year B.Sc Statistics students. He spoke on the various avenues available for the B.Sc major Statistics students after graduation. He explained in order to take up employment how students need to equip themselves with various analytical skills, and how to set up SMART goals. He touched upon the various alternatives available in data analytics field, state and central government departments and how to grab opportunities.
