On 16th September 2023, the NSS volunteers took part in a beach cleaning activity organized by the Indian Coast Guard. Approximately 39 volunteers enthusiastically joined the “Rally of Youth for Garbage-Free Beaches.” During the clean-up, volunteers managed to collect numerous large bags of trash, including PET bottles, Styrofoam pieces, fish nets, plastic, and other waste materials. The effort highlighted the volunteers’ dedication to environmental preservation and community service.

This activity not only improved the cleanliness of the beach but also raised awareness about the importance of maintaining clean coastal areas. The participants worked tirelessly to ensure a thorough cleanup, reflecting their commitment to environmental sustainability.
