Arts Departments of St Agnes College organized a fresher’s day for all the I B.A. students on 17 June 2019 at 1.30 p.m. in Avila Block, Room No 10. The programme began with a prayer led by the final year students. Ms. Maria Antony welcomed the gathering, Ms. Sarah Monis, Vice President of Arts introduced the arts faculty and the activities organised during the academic year 2018-19 through a PPT. This was followed by briefing the choice based syllabus and their respective subjects by the arts faculty. Mrs. Shanthi Nazareth, Dean of Arts addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of emotional and social quotient and how it helps at times, to balance the adversity quotient. So she informed the students to make use of every opportunity and to learn to live a balanced life. Later the Final B.A. students conducted some games where the juniors actively participated. Ms. Kavitha proposed the vote of thanks. Finally, the juniors had a campus tour in groups, was led by the Final B.A. students.
