On the 16 of January 2019, St Agnes College (Autonomous) Mangaluru in association with Tarlivind institute of aviation organised the program that would soon commence. The function began by invoking the blessing of God through a prayer song led by Rishel dsouza which was followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp.
The chief guest Mr Joseph D.C., Assistant Professor of Tourism, Mangalore University briefed about the career opportunities of the aviation programme.
With an opening quote “In aviation, we need people to work, it is a service, it cannot be replaced by machines”.
Sr Dr Jeswina A.C., the Principal of St Agnes College & the president of the programme addressed the gathering and motivated the students who have joined the programme.
Mr Dawin Prakash, freelance Corporate Softskills trainer & consultant, who was the guest of honour spoke about the ample placement opportunities, the qualities and skills aviation training provides.
Ms Maria Pawar, Aviation training and development specialist shared her life experience in aviation.
The Vice Principal of St Agnes College Sr Dr M Venissa A.C., Ms Sandhya Nair, founder of Tailwind Instititure Ms Sandhya Nair were te pther guests of honour present for the event. Ms Priya Medappa was the conveynor of the function.
Ms Leone, a student of the aviation program concluded the event by proposing the vote of thanks.
The program motivated the student of aviation program and encouraged more students to join the program. The function was composed by Ms Joshwita Veigas, a fellow student of the aviation program.
