Marketing through digital mode is a buzzword in today’s business world. Digital marketing builds brand image, creates new consumers and maintains relationship with old consumers as well. Being cheap, it is used by different types of businesses big or small. Hence the objective of the session was to make the students grasp the dimensions of Digital Marketing in the present scenario. The resource speaker referred to the big brands like McDonald’s, Canada and Google. The session also included relevant statistics which kept the students engrossed in the session throughout. The resource speaker advised students to take up short term courses on digital marketing from esteemed Institutes. She also guided students to learn the art of writing their own content which can help them to build their career in future. The students were very excited and conveyed a positive response for the session and expected to have more such sessions in the near future.
A student enrichment program on “Avenues of Digital Marketing” was organized by Post Graduate Department of Commerce, St. Agnes College, Mangaluru on May 21, 2022 (Saturday). Mrs. Sharmila P. Nayak, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce & Management, The Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce & Management, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru was the resource person. The session started by invoking God’s blessing and welcoming the gathering.
