As part of the Agnes Towards Community (ATC) initiative, the students of Final B.A, B.Com. and B.Sc. of St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru visited Sevaashrama an orphanage for destitute women managed by Sevaa Bhaava Charitable Trust, Belma Deralakatte on 25 February 2023. Students were accompanied by Mrs Pooja Assistant professor Department of Secretarial practice, Ms ManjushreeAssistant professor Department of Economics and Ms Mehna Assistant professor Department of Journalism.

The students aimed, specifically, to interact, entertain and amuse destitute women the resident of Sevaashram. They welcomed the students with smiling face. The students conducted games like passing the ball and entertained them through group song, solo singing, comedy skit and dance performance. The students interacted and made conversation with every single destitute women socializing with them and danced with them. They were so happy few of them shared their life experience which was an inspiration for our students. Groceries and fruits were donated to the asharam. Overall, it was a new and enriching experience for the students. 54 students were the beneficiaries.
